Another Milestone for the Atlas Workshop

Another milestone for Atlas Workshop.

Today we reached 149 automated tests, all passing.

That number isn't important because it's large. It's important because it represents another step towards building something much bigger.

The software we're engineering today isn't Atlas itself.

It is the Atlas Workshop—the environment where Atlas is designed, built, monitored and governed.

Every decision, every change, every relationship, every governance question and every constitutional concern is recorded, monitored and brought together in one place.

At the heart of that is the Workshop Bench.

Every person working within Atlas will have their own Workshop Bench, providing the same operational view of the Workshop.

Each Bench draws from the same underlying systems:

  • 📚 The Library preserves knowledge and history.
  • 🤝 Governance supports stewardship and collaborative decision-making.
  • ⚖️ Constitutional monitoring safeguards the Workshop's core principles.
  • 🔔 Workshop Bells notify the right people when attention is required.
  • ❤️ Workshop Health provides a live operational view of the Workshop.
  • 🪵 The Workshop Bench brings everything together into one shared interface.

The goal isn't to give everyone different information.

The goal is for everyone in the Workshop to be working from the same trusted source of truth, with the same tools, the same awareness, and the same ability to collaborate with Atlas.

This is how we believe true human–AI symbiosis begins—not by replacing human judgement, but by creating a Workshop where people and AI can work together with shared awareness, shared stewardship and shared understanding.

One careful step at a time.

Perfect for the moment.

(149 automated tests. All passing.)
